Our Family Tradition:

I don't know exactly when the first batch was made, but I remember as a young boy Uncle Jimmy standing at the stove working up a batch of "Pit Sauce" to share with family and close friends. It was just one of those things that always was and always would be in our family, bar-b-que with "Pit Sauce" to the delight of everybody.

Time passed and we all feasted on the nectar called "Pit Sauce" on holidays and North Georgia lazy summer afternoons. Family and friends never stopped using it. To us it's not bar-b-que without "Pit Sauce".

Uncle Jimmy passed away and the family recipe was passed down. The original recipe has finally been nailed down to what we have today: " Best Thing You Ever Threw a Lip Over". We have decided it is time we shared it with the world along with some recipes we found in the attic for hot sauce, relish, chow-chow and dry rubs.

We truly hope that you enjoy all our products as much as we do. Rest assured we are constantly working on new products to add to our line and before they are added they have to pass the family taste test.
